Sol and Judy Levy Landscape Photography

Judy Levy

Sol Levy

Husband and wife Sol and Judy Levy share a passionate hobby together -- an interest in landscape color photography. While they both love capturing sunrises, sunsets, and other spectacular natural events, they have also discovered their own special interests and photographic style.

The Levys were recently featured on the WHYY Public Broadcasting program Coming of Age. To view the program, click here.

They have traveled throughout the United States on photography trips to the Southwest, the Northwest and the East Coast, particularly Cape Cod. and the Smoky Mountains.

Recently they have begun to travel overseas to Ireland, Italy and France. In May 2005, they went to Prague, Czech Republic and Venice, Italy. The Levy's breathtaking vistas seek to capture the untainted landscape, exploring the natural world from mountains to stark red rock desert, from lush woodlands to spare seascapes. Reflecting their love of the outdoors, their images feature the play of light as it shapes the landscape, and particularly the colors of the “ends and beginnings of the day”- sunrise and sunset - capturing the artistic patterns of color in the clouds, sky and water. They are now adding their view to cityscapes seeking out their unique features. When not traveling, they take joy in photographing their home town of Philadelphia and scenic neighborhood of Mt. Airy. They are always learning and experimenting. Their hobby has become more than that as each has received awards and their work has been selected to appear in juried shows.

This web site introduces you to selections of their stunning photographs. You will also have an opportunity to purchase the photographs in various sizes, framed and/or matted. You can purchase by using MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, echeck, electronic transfer or by PayPal. At checkout you will have the option to join PayPal, but you are under no obligation.
