One of the great selling points of
Mt. Airy and the Norhtwest is the myriad of housing options. There are stone
houses of various sizes; affordable twin homes; duplexes, some with enclosed
porches; reasonably priced and spacious apartments, and stately mansions. Many
of these homes are enhanced with beautiful gardens. During the Colonial
period, city residents came here for their summer vacations.
